What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Inflation, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom

So what is it?: Everything is interrelated. The problem and the solution

What must we overcome to achieve peace?: Other

More: All are the obstacle to peace.

The ego may be the biggest obstacle that is hidden by religious beliefs, economic drives,fear, greed, etc,.
We truly need a univeral course in peace that is implemented in schools and community centers at a young age, at every level and especially at the university level.

Can we change the world?: Definitely

More about me: I have lived in Thailand for over 20 years directing the Dharma Healing International fasting course.
My goal is to help people become aware of themselves through the cleansing/fasting process. According to Buddhist principles, not as a religion, but as a philosophy, our fasters let go of the old karma, old habits and life styles that get in the way of being at peace with themselves, awake, alive and guided on a healthy path that not only protects themselves but the whole planet.

REBIRTH PEACE

No Movement is the best metaphor of peace. Being a rock, a tree, a statue, a structure dug in the ground all have a function to “present” peace as their ultimate expression.

The metaphor of the non-movement structures in nature, like rocks and trees, teach us a profound lesson.

As an American Jewish woman who has lived in Thailand for over 21 years, while studying the Buddha Dharma for more than 30, it is very painful to accept Israel's bombing of Gaza and all bombing for that matter.
