So what is it?: All of these issues relate to one another, the solution is a shift in consciousness and remembering our core essence or essential divinity

What must we overcome to achieve peace?: Other

More: Forgetting who we really are, brothers and sisters, children of the Divine...Chief Seattle (1854) was quoted as saying, " Humankind has not woven the Web of Life, we are but one thread within it, whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves, all things are bound together, all things connect. " By remembering that we are truly interconnected and each of us effects everything else, by practicing present moment awareness and consciously choosing to " be the change we want to see in the world, " we can make a difference.

Can we change the world?: Definitely

More about me: I am on a journey of awakening and realizing the divinity that dwells within the depths of my soul.

I am here to heal and remember who I AM, a child of the Divine just like all of my brothers and sisters here on planet earth.

I am a brother walking the Path back to Source discovering ways to serve others using the gifts/talents that I've been given to share.

I am a sensitive soul, a poetic mystic who loves devotion to the Divine in all its forms and wisdom from wherever it shows up.

I am a heart-centered person who believes in the power of love to heal and connect us to the Source of Life, one another and all of creation.

I am most deeply moved by childlike innocence, imagination and the sense of wonder, awe and reverence for the Great Mystery which is beautifully reflected in these words from St. Exupery in The Little Prince,
" It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

I am inspired by mystics, sages, poets, artists from all races, cultures, traditions who have the ability to touch the soul in ways that bring about appreciation, gratitude and a sense of wonder, awe and reverence for the Great Mystery. thanks for taking the time to write to me. My blog came from a sense of intense rage, probably from that pig Bush. I originally come from a war torn South Africa where life means nothing to anyone. where people put burning tires around the necks of others and couldn't care less.

To watch Bush go into another country for their oil, fill the world with unspeakable lies, watch the world believe his lies, televise the slaughter, watch innocent people die, watch the americans and then the Brits send THEIR kids to battle for a war they had no right to fight in, makes me sick and very angry. America keeps doing this. Vietnam destroyed it's own people. Never mind the people of Vietnam. Americans that went to war there never recovered. And what for?

In my mind, the american people are greedy, selfish pigs. (not you). Obama's inaugaration cost millions, while the people who suffered in that hurricane are still sitting in mud huts. What the hell is going on? He has a star studded banquet (oh whoopee he's black, let's celebrate) who gives a shit what colour he is? there are starving people in his country, how does he justify spending so many millions on himself? it is disgusting. But they all do it, and they justify it, all of them. The south african government are exactly the same.

There will never be world peace. Sorry I just watch it all and smile and grimace. It's a concept that we can dream about and write happy little songs about, but it will never happen. Watch what your President will do next. He's promising all sorts of crap now, and that's exactly what it is.....

BTW - I also am drawn to O'Donohue. I used writings from Anam Cara at the Celebration Of Life we had in Nov. when my father passed away.

very interesting connection. I have been to Mt. Madonna several times and lived there for a bit doing the YSC program. That is where I studied with Judith Cornell.

The mandalas that I did were also done during a transformational time of my life - the process actually was very helpful. I don't really do them as much any more - even though I'm to be leading a retreat in February - guess I better freshen up on it :)

I lived in Toas, NM and started going to the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram and feel in love with Maharajji. Now I have many teachers but mainly study in the nondual traditions of Ramana Maharshi - I really enjoy Adyashanti and wanted to move back to CA so I could be closer to his satsang but ended up in Arkansas. Don't know how long i'll be here - was also considering Oregon when I was looking for jobs.

There is actually a handful (or more) of Amma devotees here in Arkansas. Some of them have lived in the India Ashram with her. I met one of them this past summer when Amma was in Dallas and since I was moving here wanted to be involved. I also attend the Buddhist sangha here. I'm rather eclectic that way.

I will check out The Healing Connection. I've done a few logos so that would be fun to hear what you are looking for. I'll check it out on youtube as well.
