Another wonderful place to buy which supports independent musicians like me that are free from labels and conforming to certain formats is at www.cdbaby.com. I am currently in Studio with Mr. Steinway working on my new Originals album. I also have a brand new project which is the Kite Tailor Project. It is in its seed and gives me a chance to work with the voice over and visual artist MJ Hummingway to merge poems with music and visuals. We are working on our first album which will be released in 2009. Well then - I do love to sing and perform - I am aslo working on a project paying tribute to the great composer Michel Legrand. The band is amazing and we are working on developing new sounds and just completed pre production on a CD. For me - Michel Legrand brings so much beauty into the world with his music - Kara Johnstad - voice - Rolf Zielke -.piano - Rhani Krija - percussion - and Stephan Braun cello. We will start touring spring 2009.
MY ESSENCE RADIO SHOW - plays weekly and places the best music on planet earth - merging different cultures and different genres into one big wave of peace. Global Mind - Global Heart... I produce it and write it from which ever point I am currently based at on planet earth. Here are some of the archives..Feel free to tune in live on Sundays at Global Vortex and Mondays at BBS. The earthquake and its aftermath in Haiti have touched all of our lives.
As many of you know I sell and distribute through CD Baby.
