LOVE IS CONTAGIOUS....I have written an adaptation to Farid Ud-Din Attar's Conference of the Birds. Mine is called "Language of the Birds..." This story is about the search for the True Self and the pain of losing everything to find everything contained at the end within Ones true Self

More about me: I sought, since childhood, My Inner Garden. I became a follower of Avatar Meher Baba in 1972. He was a silent spiritual master and was silent for 44 years and said that when He breaks His silence the world will hear the One Word It has been longing to hear and it will automatically wipe out the illusory Pain of the world. I went to India to His Tomb. I learned about Hafez and took Persian lessons because many of Baba's early disciples were Irani's and I felt I loved everything Persian. (Baba's father was from Yezd, Iran). I was told by my dearest new friend, Baba's closest woman disciple, Mehera Irani, that the Persian Language creates imagery that no other language can create..it's the most beautiful language. I wanted to know the meaning of the exquisite symbolism in Persian poetry and to paint it like Persian Miniatures so I went to Shiraz, Iran in 2003-5 and painted in the Garden of Paradise and Hafez Tomb and found my inner garden outside and inside me...Outer world and Inner world merged. My paintings bring one into the Inner-Outer Garden which is eternally fresh and beautiful...Shanti. Sheik Sa'adi, also a Persian Spiritual Master said, "You can pluck a rose and it will stay fresh for 7 days, but if you read one of my poems (Ghazels) it remains fresh eternally with dew on it- every time you read it." As a child I wanted to bring heaven on Earth...we actually - The human body- is the vehicle the bridge between worlds and higher planes...we must seek this higher realm within us and this will raise the consciousness on this planet as it is a domino effect...one catches this love from another and in turn affects others. The Language of Love between the Lover and the Beloved is the dialogue whose symbolism expresses Beauty and God Is Beauty.
