When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?: I'm just a peaceful person

What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Other

What must we overcome to achieve peace?: Greed

More: It's the chicken-egg enigma. Is it fear or is it greed? Greed is fed by fear, fear to lose everything. Ultimately fear is man having lost touch with his true essence. Fear is used by most religions & governments (to name but a few of the many organisations and individuals who also have the whole fear-act down to a T). Fear makes people lash out and act weird to each other, fear changes the functions of the brain, fear changes behaviour, fear is why people join organisations, groups, etc. Social fear, economic fear, disease fear. Fear makes us forget compassion, fear makes us forget our ethics, our moral code that we were born with.

To live without fear is to embrace each moment as what it is, and not try to change the past of to force the future. Life without fear is to act instead of to complain, to do something instead of hoping you're going to win the lottery. We are all creators and it is up to us to decide if we create on a foundation of fear or create on a foundation of trust.

I wish I could have entered 2 words: fear and greed, the biggest obstacles for peace.

Can we change the world?: Definitely

More about me: I'm changing, evolving, I now am not what I was then. An accident really helped, raging hormones woke me up.

Naam Yoga is my way to evolve, to heal, to live with compassion, without fear, with focus. Yoga (Vinyasa, Jivamukti, Tri-Yoga) is my way to feel it. Music frequencies is my "doping".

We're all part of the Universal Spirit Highway (USH) and where we like to travel we sync with the frequency of that location. Tune in and understand your frequency, your wavelength, and you start to recognise your map, your destination.

Peace can only exist when its antagonistic complementary part, War, exists as well. It's like day and night, hot and cold, plus and minus, yin and yang. It's a matter of balance, the tipping point when war turns into peace or peace turns into war.

Nothing is static, everything is moving, always. Everything has a frequency and everything is energy. We travel on the USH, the Universal Spirit Highway. Depending on your frequency you're travelling on a certain highway and meet fellow travellers who share this frequency range. Sometimes highways intersect and you've an opportunity to change frequencies, for new experiences ... isn't it amazing?!

Please don't send long comments with photos, especially not when you're sending it to many on iPeace

Sending the same heavy (in size) comments to many, you increase the operational costs for iPeace! Traffic is not free, someone is paying for it!

Added to this, the more bytes you send across the internet the more electricity is being unnecessarily used (more servers, more cooling systems to run the servers, etc) and inherently using more than its share from our planet's resources.

I will delete these comments because:
1. It makes pages too heavy to load quickly, my time is as valuable as yours
2. it is disrespectful to other people because their comments become invisible
3. sending the same comments to many on iPeace is needless self-promotion. You are a unique person and I respect you for being who you are, there is no need to overdo it!

I hope that iPeace doesn't turn into another MySpace with profiles that take ages to load with the same comments that one can find on many other profiles.

Living mindfully, an update

Although my intention was to put up a blog every day this year, the universe conspired to give me more time to spend away from the internet ;-) and more time on studying Naam Yoga, which is very powerful combination of universal kabbalah teachings and kundalini yoga. It will be for another time to explain the changes that it has set in motion and how it helped during surgery and recovery.

Breathe in, Breathe out

The one thing that comes automatically to most of us is breathing. Yet the rhythm of our breathing is both a cause as well as a diagnosis tool of psychological and physical disorders.

In a book by Mary Summer Rain, "Ruby", she revives her old native American teacher "No Eyes" and mixes her with aspects of a goddess. Some days pass without a glitch, but also without anything memorable. Not today. I woke up without a headache (a first these days), the sun was shining, the mountains visible and work quite pleasant. Moral corruption, personal responsibility, morality and ethics

I was wondering today on how corruption seems to be everywhere. I'm not necessarily talking about financial corruption, which is but one exponent of the moral corruption.

In democratic countries, Governments, Religions, Schools, Hospitals, Researchers seem to have no moral dilemma to install fear in order to keep "at the top". was in Europe when young, for 6 months. Loved it, usa too consumeristic
then went back to europe, met husband, lived with him for 8 years, had kids late and have been here with him every since. He travels loads for work, sometimes I go with him, hence love of photography, and sometime fly with his points for the airlines!
