The biggest obstacle for peace is not hate, fear, prejudice. These are merely symptoms. The biggest obstacle is that we fail to recognize our interconnectedness, that we belong to each other. Once we realize this we can begin to look for the common threads of our existence and see that the things that connect us are greater than those that divide us.

I work in the area of transformative justice, bringing together those who have caused harm with those they have harmed. I have witnessed many miracles of forgiveness as people move beyond the hurt and fear and find a place within themselves where healing and change can be found.
