What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom, Other

So what is it?: All the above + democratizing the flow of information to the public.

More: Fear +GREED, legalized greed masquerading as democracy. The born to rule mentality that "developed" countries have used (+ continue to) against the "developing" nations to thieve them of their wealth. Colonialism is thriving still in the 21st century, thanks to the corporations + govts that support them. These are some of the real obstacles for peace.

More about me: I have been living in the highlands in guatemala for the past year, working for a wonderful NGO "Mayan Families.org'. I used to live in Sydney, Australia, it's been very educational to have a different lifestyle + see the world from a different perspective.
