It seems odd that Peace should take courage, but it does. Courage to believe there are other people who want Peace too. Peace means more than the absence of conflict, violence, or fear. It also means having love, joy, and gratitude for everyone including ourselves. Peace means being safe to allow your vulnerability to be seen and shared by others. It means not needing to have weapons with you all the time. The weapons not only of knives and guns, but words and hurtful actions.

Thanks also for the comment on my blog post. "Hatred is incapable of being wrong" -so true. I believe this is the problem between nations - no one wants to back down, admit they are wrong, even admit to the hate. Governments are just humans and make mistakes. When is the last time one admitted to it?
