Those who have more than enough want to get more and more while those who have nothing continue to get less than nothing.The gap between the haves and the have-nots is widening daily due to self centredness and selfish crave for self aggrandizement.

Can we change the world?

Iam a Kenyan studentpursuing my masters in peace and conflict studies in Germany.I believe that change is a process.we cannot change the world within a day.However exerted efforts and patience will gradually yield fruits.My philosophy of life is motivated by Margaret Mitchell who wrote a novel 'gone with the wind'.She said that "whatever a man has done ,a man can do" So, since man have been able to achieve so much in the world, peace is also a possibility.So I urge all of you not to loose heart but to keep up the pressure.Like a woman in labour pain forgets the pains after seeing newborn in er hands, we will forget all the struggles when this baby called peace becomes a reality in the world.
