Profile Information

When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I feel the pain in the world
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Human Rights
So what is it?
"It" is all violence: war has many weapons: hunger, fear, imprisonment, poverty
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Economic disparities
Some of us have too much. A very few have wa-ay too much - and want even more. The planet needs a true change of heart, but I don't really know what that means...
Can we change the world?
More about me
I believe that taxes are a logical part of our social contract, but as a conscientious objector to "war" I must redirect my federal taxes to groups that do good in the world, rather than submit them to a federal government that promotes "war" in so many ways.
