What must we overcome to achieve peace?: Other

More: A combination of factors including ignorance. As long as we live in socities where our governments and legal systems are run by people who either turn a blind eye to corruption, or conveniently ignore what is brought to their attention; where the media might only print 10% of the truth. then ignorance will prevail. Instead we read stories that are manipulated (including distorted truths) to sell papers, this feeds again to promote deliberate ignorance of the real truth to the general public. Our leaders should lead by example, not only morally and ethicaly but also in practice; by living a life less for the glory of being in a 'position of power' - instead living and being a person who is not only in a position of responsibility, their behaviour reflects such a manner that is responsible. I am reliably informed that many people leave the legal profession because they cannot hack the dishonesty that takes place. I have also known innocent victims whose lives are adversely affected by cold calculated actions in this profession - yet justice is obstructed with no remorse. I would love to see a responsible government in our countries that promotes peace and this starts with our own country....not interfering with other countries conflict and wasting billions of tax payers dollars - instead using this money, that is obliged to be given by the general public; to put it to good use in improving and providing vital services for the people of the respective nation. When our respective governments and legal systems promote peace and fairness and when we start to see justice where there is lacking - then this will have a far reaching influence to people internationally. We all need to feel safe in this so called civilised society we live in. The media could also serve a far better service 'in the public's best interest' to print a balance of stories - There are many people who are inspirational in this world, some who actively promote self healing, empowerment and also encouragement for a far more meaningful way of living. The messages we hear and experience do affect us at some level of our being, yet positive imput seems to be short. The negatives that are fed to us from every direction is not only disempowering, this promotes anxiety and worry. Finding peace within under such pressure is not easy, if even possible for those who are facing struggles, loss and grief. In an intelligent society - one at least expects our leaders to be able to lead by example....and most certainly not to function by making decisions that show someone operating out of greed. Of course this does not apply in all cases....but greed certainly does influence people in all walks of life and a lack of conscience seems to run closely with a lack of awareness and beleif in Karma. Fortunately we are lviing in a time where people are starting to discover their own inner power - relying less on trusting external factors that have been misleading for far too long.. Individuals are also starting to realise that peace starts from within - and this is how it is. Peace to you all. Namaste.

More about me: Many extraordinary experiences shaped my life path. I am naturally intuitive and spiritually awake. From the age of 12 years old, I started to study the effect our mind had on our body and my interest in human potential began from then. My mother had become paralysed from the neck downwards from a road traffic accident, given less than twelve months to live and in a critical condition...many prayers and hands on healing helped in some way, where she lived for almost 15 more years. In this time, it was a struggle because initially she did not realise a purpose for living...and I convinced her she was still valuable as a person, even though she could not walk or use her hands. Since this time I have been involved with helping many thousands of people..and being intuitive also assists the process. Much later, I trained as a professional counsellor, psychotherapist hypnotherapist after studying holistic health therapies by recomendation. Since this time I also studied business performance coaching and with such a vast amount of knowledge under my belt, plus through life experience, I decided to connect with a wider audience and write. Initially I posted on various blogs, helped people in websites and also self up a self help support group for people with eating disorders in April 2003. Overwhelmed with people contacting me for help, I provided self help tools and focussed on making this a stepping stone encouraging members to seek medical help., This way people who could not afford therapy could still get some benefit and make friends with members who understand what they are going through. Now I am working on books, yes plural - some are spiritually inspired, others practical self help for emotional healing and empowerment. There are a few other projects in the pipeline. Internationally known and respected on and offline - which is quite a compliment. I have a chatroom also that occasionally is open for various discussions including spiritual awareness, self empowerment and personal growth. The demand for my time and expertise requires my taking a rest occassionally. I am in the process of completing certain projects and websites will be advertised when built.
One of my sayings is 'When you let go of limitations - you can aim for the stars' - please remember this. Our minds are so cluttered with information we do not need. We also have fears and conditioning that weigh heavily on our lives. Clearing the clutter is quite challenging but it can be done. Some of the suggestions put out in the world seem to be short changed and I endeavor to explain things more indepth in my writing - so that those who are interested to know, will get a 'greater understanding and tools for application, where this applies. Some years of shyness has deterred me from public speaking, even though I used to be on the stage as a child.There is so much I want to share...so much more than is out there already. I will document all I know in my books. *smile*
