Far from this world, there must be a place,

filled with shining light, and ever loving grace.

A world free of fear, with peace and love within,

in a sky of eternity, that will never end.

Free from pollution, and the hum-drum way of life.

Free from hate and anger, that cuts you like a knife.

Far from this world, someday we will see,

what it's really like, to live fully free!

Do you hear the cries of the lone

wolf howling? Where is his pack?

Where is his place? Lost, lost in

the human race. People at the pipe-

I don't know your song.

whether right or wrong.

important just like me.

we are all connected heart to heart,

like one big family.

in everything we do,

We never really take the time to smell a single flower.

And as the thunderstorm goes by, do we really feel the power?

We go on living day by day, with a simple breath of air.

But what if we woke up to find, our next moment wasn't there?

We are alive, we are someone,

I WORK WITH MY STUDENTS SEVEN HOURS A DAY ,THEN AFTERWARDS VOLUNTEER SEVERAL HOURS EACH DAY TO PROVIDE THEM WITH A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE HAVEN TO COMPLETE THEIR SCHOOL WORK, PLAY GAMES TOGETHER, DISCUSS THEIR LIVES AND WORK THROUGH PROBLEMS OR CONCERNS THEY ARE EXPERIENCING THROUGH THEIR LIVES TO BECOME BETTER PERSONS AS WELL AS DEVELOP NECESSARY SKILLS TO HAVE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE.

I HAVE ONE SON ,WHO IS IN THE ARMY WHOM I LOVE WITH MY WHOLE HEART AND SOUL, AND FEEL FORTUNATE AS A TEACHER TO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE A , AND BLESSED TO BE A SURROGATE PARENT FOR THE CHILDREN IN MY CLASS AND BLESSED TO BE TREATED AS SUCH BY THEM.

I AM ALSO AN ACTIVE UNION REPRESENTATIVE MEMBER AT MY SCHOOL SITE AND THE BUILDING’S REPRESENTATIVE. THROUGH THIS POSITION I AM ABLE TO PROTECT THE RIGHTS AND WORK PLACE CONDITIONS OF EDUCATORS AND STAFF , IN ORDER TO ALLOW THEM TO HELP OUR DIVERSE STUDENT POPULATION TO BE SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS AND PROVIDE A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT BENEFICIAL TO ALL OUR SCHOOL WELL ENOUGH ABOUT ME .
