What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Human Rights

What must we overcome to achieve peace?: Fear

More: Without fear, we would not have hatred, greed, prejudice...people would not horde more than what they need, people would tolerate in others what is different from themselves, differences would add to the beauty of humanity vs. pose a threat...

Can we change the world?: Definitely

More about me: I am a priest, a mother, a bike tour director, an occupational therapist, a partner and sister. I co-direct a Christian Mystical spiritual training center in Denver. I help others discover the reality of peace within themselves - that which my own spiritual teachers have so graciously helped me to find within myself.

Making a Difference

Every day, with each choice we make, we have the power to make a difference. We can choose light or dark. We can choose trust or fear. We can choose to open and receive no matter what comes our way, or put up or defenses and react. I pray that as humans we wake up to the reality of this choice in each moment. I am thankful for the examples of Gandhi, MLK, Jesus, Mandela, and Mother Theresa who have shown us how to make this choice in spite of tremendous adversity and resistance. I am thankful… Continue
