When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I'm just a peaceful person
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Hunger, Poverty, Our Planet, Violence, Inflation, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom
So what is it?
Selfishness
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Prejudice
More
Even for things like greed and fear, there is a clear guilt factor - an inbuilt mechanism that makes people feel 'bad' about those. But as for prejudice, guilt is less because the individuals who feel it - many of them at least - think it is a deserved sentiment they feel against those 'negative forces' without fully understanding
Can we change the world?
Definitely
More about me
I love writing, astronomy, poetry and the web. I used to be
very idealistic but the realities of life have pretty much shoved that into the sole realm of writing ;). I like partying once in a while and believe in a free, non-ritualistic faith. Although I feel this should be just a social network and nothing else, I also see it as a genuine support group. I'm a partner in 3rd Eye Communications Associates, and we are engaged in all forms of communication - advertising, editorial, web, PR etc. I am also a director in EthiCorp Pte Ltd and we would like to spread the Spirit of Ethical Enterprise globally and genuinely help people live a better life everywhere - and persuade them to help others as well.
