More: I think major changes in economic policies are important in the search for peace but we cannot communicate with others around the world until we have ended prejudice and work together as equal human beings.

More about me: I am a pacifist. I believe that everybody in the world is equal - and by this I mean there should be no exceptions, no minority groups left in the shade, no human being who should be denied respect and love, no person neglected.

I am a feminist. I believe women are not yet equal with men, and I believe there are still many issues facing women. I am strongly opposed to racism. This hatred of others is what causes such great problems in one's life. If you want to be happy, make others happy. ^_^

I am a liberal socialist, anti-capitalist, pro-environment and pro-gay rights. I am a 17 year old young woman, so sometimes it's easy to feel there is little I can do to change things. But every single person can create a change. =D

I am very interested in understanding other religions. I am a practicing Mahayana Buddhist and I like learning about other ways of life. This is a very important step towards peace - learning about other religions, philosophies and lifestyles.
