Ipeace Etiquette 101

Posted on January 23, 2009 at 9:29pm 2 Comments

Hey everyone!

Although I have been on ipeace for a couple of months now, but I have not had a lot of time to update/upgrade my Ipeace page.

I noticed that I received a lot of emails from Ipeace, and my inbox has been getting completely filled with them (I am talking almost thousands of e-mails from Ipeace! ).

I love ipeace very dearly, but I wanted to know if there is an option where I can stop receiving e-mail notifications?

If someone could please tell me, that would be… Continue

Article and personal opinion on the violence in Gaza and Southern Israel, and the hate that has spewed throughout the planet as a result.

I just read an article online which talked about how a lot of hatred and anti-semitic attacks are being targeted towards the Jewish community of Paris, France, and other European countries, due to Israel's destructive, inhumane war crimes happening in Gaza.

This really breaks my heart to see this. It really saddens me to see Jews in Europe being targeted for crimes that they did not commit in Gaza. I understand that a lot of Arabs and Muslims (I hate labeling, but this is where a lot of… Continue

Dalai Lama 'loses hope' for Tibet

This weekend the Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, told his followers he had lost hope of reaching agreement with China about the future of his homeland. The BBC's Asia analyst Jill McGivering assesses what this means.

The Dalai Lama has championed a "middle path" policy with China

For decades, the Dalai Lama's approach to China has been cheerfully patient and… Continue

Where can I find ipeace pictures? (or at least on this site? :) )

Posted on October 26, 2008 at 12:11am 0 Comments

Hey everyone!
So I notice how one the IPEACE home page how there are pictures of different peace activists around the world.
I first, wanted to know where the people who posted them found them.

Second, there was one picture that I really liked that is no longer on the homepage any more. It showed the Dalai Lama hugging some children. Where on the website is it, and if it is no longer on the website, where can I find it?
Thanks
Stephanie :)

I have finally figured out who I am--I am a humanist! :)

This is probably one of the greatest feelings in my whole life-- I have finally figured out who I am and how I relate to this world through my thoughts, actions, and love towards others. I feel empowered.

So I was reading some articles on the BBC about how Paul McCartney is/came to perform in Israel (I am not sure if he is currently there, but if someone could tell me now, that would be great! :) ). Anyways, I read the article about how his comming to perform in Israel was long awaited,… Continue

The Healthcare Fallen Memorial

We watch our loved ones die because the healthcare system in our country has abandoned them.

The Healthcare Fallen Memorial is a place to keep them alive in our memory when all else has failed.

Here you can post pictures, videos and stories of your family, friends and neighbors who have died on our own soil because they could not get healthcare.

We will never forget their struggle to live.
