Dear iPeace Members

As an artist, I have learned a great deal about copyrights, so I'm sensitive to the subject. It bothers me greatly when I see someone posting art created by someone else without at least giving the artist due credit.

Sometimes people believe that anything, especially images, available on the Internet is theirs for the taking. Not so.

Unless the artwork is your own, in which case you should at least put your copyright on or next to your work, always… Continue

Pakistan is having their Humanitarian problems and all that the Taliban does, is kill Ten Humanitarian Caretakers. What are We to do with these mentally warped thinking fellow Human Beings?

When people have not even fresh water. I feel ashamed, on the behalf of all of us...
2010.. how is it possible?
And so much money goes to the developing countries, but where do they actually go, Yes in the pockets of those who have the power and at the same time are responsible for the misery in their countries.

I hope for the Mothers, they must be those who finally act in these countries...
Like in Argentina and many other places in the world.
They are the Hope since we all know the strength in a mother's love for her children

But I know their possibilities is much limited in Muslims countries.

Hallo Susan

Our problems in this part of the world seem small compared with those you are struggling with in Pakistan, even if I do not like to compare human pain. In Sweden more people kill themselves than victims in traffic .Many of them are Youth.
But poverty, that ought to have been eradicated by now. make me so upset to hear what you told me. So sad and most for the children
I have worked with children almost all my life , but now I have such bad health, so all I can do is write and try to share the experiences i have gained.

I'm happy to hear about your engagement for people in need, that give us all some hope...

Glad you are You and what an artist ! *smile*
Such a lovely picture of Mother and Child

Thanks for sharing both your words and your art

VERSE: And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
-- Revelation 21:2-4

THOUGHT:
I don't know about you, but I'm kind of ready for that old order stuff to go away. The end of tears, death, mourning, crying and pain sounds pretty good to me! No wonder the early Christians would say, "Maranatha. Come Lord Jesus!" They couldn't wait.

PRAYER:
Holy God, please help me as I try continuing serving you faithfully. My desire is to be steadfast in my love and living for you until the glorious day that so many of your children have longed for over the centuries. I long to see you in your glory and to share in your presence and to join with the saints of all ages praising you around your glorious throne. Through Jesus I pray.
Amen.

A GOD OF COMFORT

2 Corinthians 1:3-11

Dear Father, great and gentle one,

Blessed are you, God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. You are
the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort.

You comfort us in our affliction, so that we may be able to
comfort others who are in affliction with the same comfort with
which we ourselves are comforted by you.

You enable us to know that as we share abundantly in Christ's
sufferings, so through Christ we shall share abundantly in comfort
too.

Thank you that our suffering is not meaningless, but is for the
comfort and salvation of others. Thank you for a hope that cannot
be shaken.

Jesus has taught to besiege you with constant prayer. Here we are
again, coming in his name. Amen.

My Cup Runs Over Have you ever wondered why God gives so much? We could exist on far less. He could have left the world flat and gray; we wouldn't have known the difference. But he didn't.

He splashed orange in the sunrise
and cast the sky in blue.
And if you love to see geese as they gather,
chances are you'll see that too.
Did he have to make the squirrel's tail furry?
Was he obliged to make the birds sings?
And the funny way that chickens scurry
or the majesty of thunder when it rings?
Why give a flower fragrance?
Why give food its taste?
Could it be
he loves to see
that look upon your face?

If we give gifts to show our love, how much more would he? If we - speckled with foibles and greed - love to give gifts, how much more does God, pure and perfect God, enjoy giving gifts to us?
