I believe that as long as women are marginalized they cannot mother children fully. The lack of connection early in life limits the ability of a human to fully develop the capacity for empathy. By improving the status of women, and mothers world wide we will see a more peaceful world grow around us.

I work with Nonviolent Peaceforce (NP). I facilitate workshops on nonviolence, and nonviolent conflict interventions. My back ground is in engineering, physics and information science. I love organizing, building programs and teaching. I'm on the coordinating committee for the USNPCA and I run the Oregon Chapter of NP.
