When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I feel the pain in the world
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Inflation, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
I think largely, it's people's interpretation of religion, that causes the problems.
Also I think a lot of the countries in which war is happening, the people have become inured to this way of life, they know no other kind of life.
Can we change the world?
More about me
I'm a complex soul, not religious but deeply spiritual.
I feel the pain in the world, which can be very hard when one already suffers depression, but I realize that to help effect change people must continue to move the cause forward and maintain faith that there will be change.

If we are to survive as a species, we humankind must learn to live in Love, not fear...that is our major karmic lesson.

North Korea

Posted on May 27, 2009 at 7:57am 0 Comments

I watched the news with a sense of horror, learning that North Korea has been detonating bombs, yet again!

What are these people thinking...their marching in their public squares, reminds me of the horrors of Nazi Germany, not too many years ago.

It is beyond me what goes on in the communal mind of the people of this brainwashed they seem, goose-stepping like automatons....

We need to meditate and pray for this country, that… Continue

The Law of One

This is beautiful....

It grows colder now that winter is not far away....even been snowing up in the mountains.

Feeling very restless of late....apparently normal, considering the great shift of energies now happening within the Universe.

We need to send out Love and Peace even more than ever. This is OUR PURPOSE here and NOW!

Peace, Prayer, Meditation and Love

Posted on April 15, 2009 at 7:44am 2 Comments

Over the past months I have read an amazing series of books.

The Expected One, The Book of Love, Home with God, and the Isaiah Effect and one theme is evident through all of them.

The message has been sent over and over, through all the ages of time, it has been Love and Peace are achievable.

It has never been more apt to any time in history than the current time, our time, now.

Through Prayer and meditation, ensuring that our prayers have the emotion of… Continue

Is it Sarah Brightman?

Because we all aspire to be what we have always been, we become a grain of sand in the sand-parade at ocean’s shore; a globe of pollen in breathing wind; curved bow of swallow wings in hush of twilight; the glint of light on watered-stone, washed in the river of time—red drum of heart, red pony of blood, green mandala of mindfulness, the seasons of seeding when God takes the shape of prayer and frolics freely in the imaginations of children, and the season of harvest, which feeds death as well as life—apple-worms and angels.

Be aware. The moon watches us from the silent theater of darkness and the sun rises over the miracle of dreaming that all of creation shares.

Because we are here, the game of metamorphosis is offered to us. Because we are changelings, we find ourselves wherever we are.

If the mood comes upon you to dance, by all means dance. If the mood comes upon you to sing, somebody assuredly is waiting to hear. If you are walking in the direction of the Wilderness of Life, let me travel with you. The dove of now descends to more souls than one in the rapture of love, in the moment of eternity.

My spirit is a bit tarnished, to be honest. If we get our issues resolved though, it should shine bright! :)

That would depend what you mean. I will never be the person I once was, and in that sense I will never 'heal'. However, I am as well as can be expected. The same does not go for the relationship between me and my fiancee. WE are fine, but because we come from two different continents there are issues :(

Thank You for your comments,Not only do you have Beauty, but you see it too...
few people choose to see the beauty around them, these days...
as for my Pen Name "LonelySoul"
to a poet, who rarely gets the feedback needed,or the aplaud after the performance, the silence is quite lonely,so I put my poems and stories out there in hopes they will be read one day, like the art painted on the cave walls, telling my stories along the way to greater understanding of my own world...I have a poem that covers this too...

The Silence of the Crickets is such a lonely sound,
to the actors on the stage,it throws their hearts to the ground...
They've put on quite a show and have given you their all,
but after they perform, for them, the Final Curtain Falls...
The silence of the crickets is such a Lonely sound,
Only their own heartbeat,But a thousand faces all around...
Like the author of a poem,His love spilling upon the page,
Telling you his story,an Ode' to his Life in silent rage...
She tells you of her fantasy,Or how she's dancing 'round,
but the silence of the crickets is such a Lonely sound...
So if you read a story, hear a song, and you liked every word,
Kudos to it's author, for what you feel and what you heard...
if it moved you in some small way,or shook the very ground,
remember The Silence of the Crickets is such a lonely sound...
