When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?: I feel the pain in the world

What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Inflation, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom

......my mind is searching for words that I can use to describe the total
helplessness....uselessness that I feel, not just when I read what you
are sending, but most of the time after I have read.
For once we become aware of something - no matter whether it is good or bad,
it remains within our consciousness forever.
It always seems to me that `time' has a lot to do with controlling the
direction and thus the outcome of situations.
I browse around and see the people that are here
and on other similar sites as well - they are good people
wanting to join with others that want peace for this world.
So all I can think is that the more we gather in numbers
and therefore `strength' with a voice to have our say to
leaders that control their countrymen, that we may,
sooner than later, be partly responsible for bringing change.
I must hold faith that this will come to pass.
May you always be protected from danger my friend.

What good can possibly come out of war: prejudice, hate, anger?
That is the reason I had left that country a long time ago.
As a child, i already wanted to live elsewhere. Live in a place
where there is no constant tention on th borders and threats
of terrorism and war. I managed to leave when I was 14.
