More about me: I've been an expat from America for some time now, during most of the last administration, and have appreciated the more universal perspective that living away from my country of origin has afforded me. I feel very lucky to have lived in some gorgeous places around the world, from the inner Hebrides in Scotland to the central desert in Australia: landscape and beauty are keys to inner and outer peace and I'd like to be involved with others in projects that connect people to beautiful places. It's great to be part of this global community focused on peace.

Something I really enjoy is helping other people enjoy themselves; to be at peace with who they are and to use that sense of comfort with themselves to turn towards others with clarity and great energy to contribute to the good of all.

In February of 2009, I am launching a website that includes a daily practice of developing a sense of peace with oneself.

At 10:50am on December 11, 2008, Golden bird said…: I was shocked to see the Orion hanging almost upside down in the north. I still could not pick out the Southern Cross with assuarance but think that I saw some of it in the mist and moonlight in the south.
So writes Thomas Merton in 1968 on his asian journey which was to become his last. I see him as a friend and to me he is as alive today as then end his strt up dialogue with Thich Nat Tan made a path for us to follow. I am glad to have found a sister under the Southern Cross! Thanks for the invitation to be my friend!
