What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Fear
More
Fear prevents us from loving what we don't know, it clouds our judgment, drives good people to do wrong, prevents us from understanding another
Can we change the world?
Definitely
More about me
Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, from a family of peace makers and activists. Went to art college, sold my soul to advertising. Making art and documentary film to help spread meaningful media. Loves photography, printmaking, all forms of artistic expression (even if i cant do them).
Im a member of the peace people (www.peacepeople.com), which was formed after a terrible act of violence ended up killing my aunts sister's children, resulting in her suicide months later, another of my aunts sisters (Mairead Corrigan) went onto BBC television that day and spoke out against the use of violence (state and freedom fighters), forming an enormous peace movement in 1979, resulting in her winning the nobel peace prize. Mairead is my good friend and inspiration in peace activism.
Im working in Japan in advertising (still) and loving japanese culture.
I have lived in Johannesburg, South Africa and was witness to the change of government from Apartheid to Nelson Madela's ANC, giving me hope of peace can happen in any environment.
Looking forward to building peace networks throughout the world, and getting good messages of love, peace and respect out to the hungry masses.
Promise to respect others and refrain from spamming?
Yes

So you liked my word I made up, haha? Sheeple. Seemed appropriate a word for people being decieved from up above and herded like innocent sheep to the slaughter, ergo sheeple..... I always make up my own words, and then before you know it my innocent friends start using them too, haha..never suspecting it was one of my creations. I just dropped by to wish you a wonderful week. I am behind on my page and emails because I am typing one thumbed and it takes forever. I broke fingers on both hands and sprains in a nasty fall I took this week, so am trying to catch up with my friends with my one-thumbed typing, a slow process. Oh well, have a great week my friend.

Love and Peace

Good day rick!

The one I mentioned on my comment is an antique jar originally made by my ancestors a long time ago. It was a jar that simbolizes life and death.

Wow, I'm really impressed that you've got a lot of talents. So you're quite a celebrity eh?

I love arts! I love paintings, jars, artifacts, Once in a while I visit our National Museum but apparently I don't have a talent in those fields but you can consider me as a fan.

Its nice meeting someone like you here in ipeace rick.=-)

Hey Rick, Thanks for checing out my iPeace page. Many second and third generation Irish Catholics are teachers an police in San Francisco. They are our best friends. Wendy and I are always spending with them. The Irish we hang out with are down to earth, smart, and great conversationalists. We are honored to be accepted by them. I know it's not pc to make generaliztions about anyones ethnic background even if it's positve. How is Japan? I really have had trouble finding out about you from your site. I'll send you a picture I think you'll like.

Yes I am quite a character! Mild mannered substitute teacher by day. Dutiful husband of thirty years, retired, teacher, proud father of beautiful well educated daughters by day and Captain Wayne-O Cosmic trickster of peace and internet pop icon by night. Now excuse me while I save the world and finish reading about you.

hi Rick,

Thank you,
I really like that: the science of enlightenment!
Awareness is a key. Most people want the same, Peace in a World! But not everyone knows how to create INNER peace first! That is why we here, to learn that and help others in many different ways.

I love art, art is my passion-communication with a soul., expressing the True self.
I see so much Love for the world through your photos. There is so much light in you! Thank you!

Love and light,
Valeria
