WE ARE ONE!

Profile Information

When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I am a born activist
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Hunger, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Human Rights
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Fear
Can we change the world?
Definitely
More about me
I'm an active musician. ending the recording of a CD' which is part of an amazing project called Ronit Shefi and "Kol Ha'ella"(voice of the goddess in Hebrew).
The songs bring out feminine healing energy at its best through vocal harmonies, & empowering texts(for all human beings...).
I strongly believe that peace will happen when women will lead the world, connected to their peace loving nature.
First they have to awaken their intuition, &listen to their hearts! Then gain back trust in their ability to change&heal.
Since we create life - we honor life.
Promise to respect others and refrain from spamming?
Yes

WE ARE ONE is one out of 13 songs in my new CD, which will come out soon.
It's the only song in English. I wrote it during the second Lebanon war, visioning it sung by people all over the universe - together.
Leaving aside all the pain, anger & fear, understanding that we really ARE one.
Just like in that movie showing that if we go in a spaceship and look at our planet from far away - what we see is ONE. One planet.
During that war I felt a strong urge to do something that would make a change. People in Israel were so depressed.
The media just brought more & more sad stories, as if that was the only thing happening in the world, which created very bad energy. People lost hope.
So intuitively I formed a singing circle (something I do with women regularly) in a big central park in Tel Aviv, e-mailed invitations, &smsed everyone I knew.
It was a cloudy evening in August.
We sang my mantras/songs, then I started singing We Are One and everyone joined.
Suddenly we noticed that above us a big circle opened in the middle of the clouds, showing a piece of clear sky!
It was amazing. As if the energy of our singing opened the gates right above us.
Since that evening I've been singing this song in several peace gatherings in Israel.

Another moving experience was at an event bringing together Arabs & Jews on the same day when we celebrate our Independence & they morn their Nakba (disaster).
It was held in a church in Nazareth. People shared private stories, than I started singing & everyone joined in. It was very moving...

WE ARE ONE (lyrics&music/Ronit Shefi)
We are one (x4)
We live our lives seeking for love
When all the love is within us.

Lyrics of other songs from the new CD (translated from Hebrew):
HARBEH TOV (So Much Good) (lyrics&music/Ronit Shefi)
Receive what the universe conveys/ all you have requested & dreamed of/ go with your fear, it is a part of you/ see how you have grown!

So much good is waiting just for you/ So much love surrounds you/ be generous, share the good/ embrace yourself, learn to love.

You are the wholeness, you lack nothing/everything is within you, nothing unnecessary/ don't look for what is wrong, smile to the mirror - how beautiful you are.

So much good is waiting just for you/ So much love surrounds you/ be generous, share the good/ embrace yourself, learn to love.

AHAVA KMO MAYIM (Love Like Water) lyrics/ Sarit Zeltser, music/Ronit Shefi)
If I'll tell you, if I'll whisper to you, if I'll look at you/
then you might understand that love is like water, that love is like water.

I believe that energy flows in any language. There are no barriers, especially with healing energy.
I wish you a heart-opening experience, & I invite you to write me a comment!
LOVE
Ronit

IN MEMORY OF THE MEMBERS OF ISRAELS GAY COMMUNITY, MURDERED LAST NIGHT

Today I participated in a memorial event in Tel Aviv, held outside the Israeli Gay community center, after a hate massacre last night, leaving 2 young people dead, and many others severely wounded.

I don't know what kind of news about Israel reaches the world outside my country, so I feel it's my duty to share this terrible information with you:

Last night I was shocked to hear that a murderer went into the building of the Gay community, while there were teenagers in there, and shot from an automatic gun everywhere.
It was a terrible massacre.
He ran away and hasn't been caught yet.

It's been a horrible day.
It woke me & many people to understand how much hatred and ignorance there still is in the world towards anyone "different".
It woke up a few politicians, who dared to speak & actually say words such as "homosexuals" & "lesbians".

It's our duty to do much more for educating the young generation for tolerance towards one another, if we truly want PEACE to exist!

I'm very sad today, but I know that for me - this is a wake-up call.
I will appreciate your commenting on this.
Thank you.
PEACE & LOVE to all,
Ronit/ Israel.
