When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?: I feel the pain in the world

What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Inflation, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom, Other

So what is it?: conflicts with human rights are causing wars which in turn are causing violence,poverty, lack of education,inflation, and mistreatment of the enviroment.

What must we overcome to achieve peace?: Fear

More: People fear what they don't know, this is especially true with religion. Religion is now a taboo subject like never before and feared in our society. Once people stop being afraid they can accept other people in a peaceful way.

Can we change the world?: Definitely

More about me: I am part of a journalist program to promote positive and peaceful representation of Israel in hope of peaceful resolving what is essentially a political matter. I think war solves nothing and only creates more conflict and tension between countries.
I will be traveling to Israel this coming summer and make a video documentary with 25 other students.

WriteOn for Israel

I was accepted into a journalistic writing program called WriteOn for Israel and we just had the second session in San Francisco. This program consists of 20 intelligent, peaceful, high school juniors and a few supervisors, writers, and one grad student. We did a mock press conference and another girl, Sam, and i had a news update powerpoint presentation.
