WHERE THE SEARCH ENDS

"I searched the world over for God and found Him in my heart," said Augustine.

In the heart of the believer a still small voice speaks in the clearest accents, bearing "witness with our spirits that we are the children of God." Nothing on earth is so heavenly as that~so like "the voice of angels singing in the silence." It is as clear as bells at eventime. It is assuring like the familiar voice of a friend beloved. The Holy Spirit speaking in the secret chambers of the heart is the… Continue

The Cove, End the Dolphin Slaughter, Your signature does count!

Just saw The Cove. It's an amazing film.

The publicity generated via the media, via Broome, Australia, breaking off its sister city link with Taiji, Japan and especially via the net seems to have worked, at least in the short run.

There was no reports of dolphin slaughter in Taiji on 1st Sept, the "traditional" start to the killing season. And, thus far, it seems to be holding.

This is an amazing result!

You can sign the petition to end the slaughter of dolphins… Continue

Bye bye, Judgment

Bye bye, Judgment

Heavenletters.org

God said:

However, your need to judge, no matter how mistaken, came from a good intention in your heart. You wanted to do right and good. You wanted to serve. The best you knew was to call in judgment.

Judgment came to your aid as a servant, only your servant started to rule the roost. Judgment likes to take over and color all of your life. Judgment sorts right and left and has perhaps grown to call the shots in your life.… Continue

EVERYTHING IS ROUND!

It was once said by an old Indian man that "Everything is round!" I couldn't find a more true statement then that!

Your eyes are round, bones, this place we call home!

When an artist learns how to draw,he learns this more then any other shape! Why,because everything is round!

It is far easier to use round circles even if a little oblong, oval,or even bent then it is to use a square!

Many wise sayings are used in this manner, like,"When a church is built in a circle, there are no… Continue

YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE-THE MIRACLE OF LOVE

THE MIRACLE OF LOVE

Like any good mother, when Karen found out that another baby was on the way, she did what she could to help 3-year-old Michael to prepare for a new sibling. They found out that the new baby was going be a girl, and day after day, night after night, Michael sang to his sister in Mommy’s tummy. He was building a bond of love before he even met her.

The pregnancy progressed normally for Karen, an active…

Feel Whatever You Choose

Stop working so diligently to make your feelings match your circumstances. Realize instead that you can direct your feelings to create much more favorable circumstances of your own choosing.

There's no law that says you must harbor feelings of disappointed, dismay, anger and futility when events don't go your way. You can just as easily feel amused, enlightened and more positively inspired than ever before.

You could use your feelings… Continue

COCONUT

The hot Malaysian sun

Beats down on my bare chest

As I glance up from Hemingway's

The Snows of Kilimanjaro

To see an exotic woman

Walking towards me

Through banana trees

Her breasts

As full as the ripe coconuts

A man is cutting from high up in a tree

With wide swaths of his machete

As a curious monkey watches

I don't have my camera with me

It's in the hut by the mango trees

Overlooking the lagoon

There is no protection from… Continue

EINSTEIN

Isn't it phenomenal

That a guy no one would hire

To teach anywhere in Europe

A guy who worked full time

At the Swiss Patent Office

Was able to outperform

The best minds in physics

At the most prominent

Universities in Europe

To such a degree

That we don't even remember

Their names today?

One man working alone

Outside the intellectual establishment

That had rejected him

Came up with the most astounding

Theories the world… Continue

Break-through of light...

This is an interpretation of a recent crop circle. Circles are impressively “cropping up” more regularly, clearly and in more detail. While there are multiple interpretations and opinions of each, allowing ourselves to be in communication with the source of their existence is empowering.

If 2012 is actually spiraling unfolding before our eyes and our consciousness is required, let’s open ourselves to the possibility of prophecy. One adjustment is in our relationship to our individual… Continue

The veritable beauty of a (wo)man.....

My Soul-Aphorisms 2009:

My own thoughts mixed with those of:

Audrey Hepburn / Henry David Thoreau / Ralph Waldo Emerson / Jack Elias

(aphorisms partly amended by me)

The veritable beauty of a (wo)man

is not reflected in the clothes (s)he wears,

the figure that (s)he carries,

or the way (s)he carries his/her hair and hat.

The beauty of a (wo)man is even not

in his/her cosmetic facial looks,

cos the true beauty in a… Continue
