Looking through My World

Amazing how much it changes the view looking through glass. I liked this shot because the sharp edges of the break on the galss are in contrast to the peaceful landscape I see when I look out of our window. it’s like real life….. there are sharp edges, broken things – and a lot of beauty, all at the same time.

The women united can never be divided!

"I believe that living together in PEACE and in HARMONY is the end result of the next leap in our conscious evolution as a species...with women leading the way. Certainly the world has tried living together another way for hundreds and hundreds of years! As we now sit on the brink of destruction of our entire planet and our species, I believe we realize it is time to move forward in a new and powerful way that requires a massive shift in our way of BE-ING together and in our consciousness. In… Continue

...Gifts.....

I have noticed the gift segment that has appeared on iPeace and other nings I have joined...more than I can keep up with.....it is a nice thing but it bothers me...and I also learned of mePeace today and that many belong to i and me.....Peace is far to important to segmented and held back by the monster of all times...the Human Ego...man...that Ego is a killer....if any of you ever want to give me a gift...smile at a stranger...make that stranger a friend...help an old person...your next step… Continue

INTUITION

Do you have intuition? Is it more a woman thing than a man thing?

I've started a discussion about it on the group

http://www.ipeace.me/group/15000stories

I think it's interesting, sort of like the idea I had about the gift giving....I thought "Hey, this is not for me..." and at present it seems to be creating quite a stir here!!

What are your thoughts? Does your intuition tell you "Go for it!" or… Continue

Heart to heart to all my dear friends here and everywhere. Namaste, Miguel

Changing Perspectives

As the Buddhist view has consistently demonstrated, it is the perspective of the sufferer that determines whether a given experience perpetuates suffering or is a vehicle for awakening. To work something through means to change one’s view; if we try instead to change the emotion, we may achieve some short-term success, but we remain bound by forces of attachment and an aversion to the very feelings from which we are struggling to be free.

Scars that don't heal

I learned with every 12 Step group that I've participated in that I am powerless... that I need to surrender all control.

I don't entirely agree with that. And every time I say that at a meeting. The eyebrows raise and I go on to explain myself. By the time I finish explaining many agree with me.

There is one thing that I have total control over is my word. If I say something, I should stick to it. If I make a commitment to a project then I need to follow it… Continue

The Power of Innocence (Fast Track for Peace & True PeaceMakers)

The Power of Innocence (Fast Track For Peace & True PeaceMakers)

The following article assumes that the reader desires to experience inner and outer peace. My purpose in writing this is to provide a 'fast-track' answer to satisfy that desire - to tell you, in quickest terms, how to have what you desire. Although the short answer is forgiveness, most people think this means that first you make someone wrong, guilty or blameful, then you, the perceiver of the wrongness/guilt/blame,… Continue

Massacre in Iran?

This weekend i received urgent news about innocent, unarmed people getting machine gunned in

the streets of Iran. That children were getting beaten & smashed to death by the boots of soldiers.

I was told the press has been kicked out of Iran and this info is being suppressed.

The person informing me was connected to the exiled crown prince of Iran, and was in

search of weapons for the resistance.

Has anyone else heard about this -

and does… Continue

Today is Sunday, let me dream!

Today is Sunday, let me dream!. Just three calendar days to enforcing a year of physics go out of my mother. Yes because spiritually she stays at my side, like my father. "To say I felt your protection, I have been granted Rainy Wish", have simple desires is one of my virtues, but I assure you wanted something and my thought was magical, wish granted. One year as measured from that perspective, is a short or long time, but to say that when alone,… Continue

Part of wisdom is recognising current reality

There is probably no greater obstacle to peace than the assumption that there are no active and powerful forces resisting it.

For example, the combined cost of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan is $288,000,000 a day.

This amount is somebody's gain. And that gain is not going to be given up easily.

If we do not take this reality into account when deciding on strategy to stop war, no amount of wanting will do it.…

BlogBlast For Peace ~ November 5, 2009 ~ How You Can Participate!

When I sat down to write a blog post in October 2006, I didn't expect it to birth a movement. Or did I? But that is exactly what happened. Frustrated and bewildered by the state of affairs in our world, I offered a challenge to my readers on my blog, Mimi Writes: What can we do? I asked. I tossed out an idea: Let's all write a blog post about peace. And while we're at it, let's make some noise.… Continue

"What if they gave a war and nobody came?"

Alongside the general "peace fest" on this site, remember, occasionally, that we are complicit in our governments' warlike posturings behind the smoke screen of "national security".

George Williston exposes the dark side of the AngloAmerican tribe.

World Friend, late Adi Da, tells of the devastating effect of global Nation-tribalism. This modern primitivism is blind to the fact that we are One… Continue

Beautiful words and pictures

Dear friends, I do not wish to snub your style, but do please address practical issues.

Problems need to be confronted with down to earth analysis and perpetrators of mistaken policies need to be challenged.

What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?

War, Hunger, Our Planet, Violence, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom
These are the real issues.

What in your mind is the biggest obstacle for… Continue
