For a number of years now, the UN has set 21 Sept as Peace Day. While we would like every day to be peace day, it is useful to have one common day during which many people and organizations reflect on a common theme. This 21 Sept the UN has set disarmament as the theme of the day. Also during Sept. the US President will chair a session of the UN Security Council devoted to disarmament which should attract some attention to the subject. Thus, I am sending my recent… Continue
Its not very comfortable in there is it?” said the stony faced official, cigarette smoke forming a haze around his gleaming oval head.
“Its OK. We’re fine” I replied wearily, delirious after being awake for a straight period of 30 hours.
“You could be in there for days you know. For weeks. Indefinitely. “So, tell me, you are taking a plane tomorrow morning to the US?”

It was our journey home that began with the… Continue
I will always remember my Fathers words to me as he lay dying from cancer "Go now son and play music all over this world. Tell people who you are, where you have come from and where your going...If I could, I would come with you but for me,it is only a dream now...for you..you can fulfill that dream".
At the time my head was such a mess, there was my Father, the ROCK of my life, leaving this world yet still giving me his wisdom and advice. For years after I wrote song after song after… Continue

In 1985 Northern Ireland was in the grip of our violent conflict, tearing apart our society in sectarian division. Many of us are like a walking windmill.
A tempest in the teacup of factitious beliefs,
know-it-all-behaviour and greedy attitudes,
standing on our own precious ego-pedestal.
Yet deep within we all are born as a calm lighthouse
and if we just radiated our innate state of true BEing,
others would sense our essence, i.e. the original and
eternal state of us being humble, peaceful and loving.
Be Love like all great visions, began and functions in accordance with destiny. Co founders and life partners KamGi Chak and Kyle Finch met because the wind of Spirit blew us together. We created Be Love because we see nonviolence as Love, the highest Truth, and we are committed to supporting education and action that is aligned with the great teachings of nonviolence. The Be Love apparel brand (gorgeous eco/organic t-shirts) is the powerful vehicle designed to sustain our… Continue

A Spiritual Path is the awakening of a major occurrence in your life because it reveals a purpose for existence. To solve life’s labyrinth, to see the marvel in everyday experience, fulfill the soul’s craving for union, and ultimately find one’s way home is the true meaning of your spiritual awakening that leads you to your spiritual path.

This fierce workshop with spiritual activist, and award winning filmmaker Velcrow Ripper explores the power that is released when spirituality is combined with action, tapping into what Gandhi called "Soul Force", what Ripper calls, "Fierce Light." It is the power of the spiritual warrior - heart centered and fierce at the same time.
