There are different motives for war.
Governments throughout history have wanted to increase their power in the world. It also gives them access to resources. It´s very rare that they are the ones to get hurt.
Companies who supply weapons, military transport and other commodities. They are interested in maximising their profits.

The war on terror is a contradiction in terms. Filled with hypocrisy. A problem can not be solved by creating even bigger ones. But by understanding it from all angles. Human beings tend to see things from one side. As does the media. As does the government.

September 11 Families for a Peaceful Tomorrow are a group of people who lost a relative in The Twin Towers in 2001. However they believe that war is a brutal racket and are running a peace campaign.
One of the women was based in Iraq in the US Marines. Here she witnessed what is truly happening. This made her question her beliefs about war and decide to fight for peace instead.
