I am pleased to announce the UK Charity Premiere of SKIN, to benefit FilmAid ( - a charity which brings wonderful films to war-torn regions of the world, providing a few hours of respite from their daily struggles. They also train people to make their own films and document their experiences.

Another Audience Award!

SKIN just won it's seventh award this year... Audience Choice Award at the Rochester High Falls Film Festival, run by Catherine Wyler (daughter of legendary director, William). Here are the details:

UK Distribution News...

ICA Films is proud to announce the acquisition of UK Theatrical and DVD rights for Anthony Fabian’s award-winning drama SKIN, starring Sophie Okenodo, Sam Neill and Alice Krige. SKIN just won the Jury Award for Best Film at the Palm Beach Film Festival.

A view from Washington DC

This is a report from a bi-racial South African woman who assisted me in May 2004 when I conducted a series of script development workshops in Johannesburg to improve the screenplay of SKIN. She now lives in Washington DC and attended last week's packed screenings at Filmfest DC. I asked her to do a Q&A on my behalf, as I was unable to attend.
