The Closer We Get

The closer we get to peace within the harder the road becomes. Our experiences show us that this may be the hardest road of all to pass along. Some may find rocks and stubble, others may be hampered by boulders and mountains. It is not an easy road. When boulders stand in your way examine your heart. You may find the blockage is not external at all by any means but comes from within. Peace is attained from the inside out.

The Plain of Jars

Recently, on the Travel Channel TV, on Anthony Bourdain's travel show I saw a brief spot on the Plain of Jars in Laos. This ancient site is littered with jars, some as large as five men holding hands in a circle. No one knows how these jars were made or who made them.
