Are EYES the most attractive feature on one's face?

http://www.ipeace.me/group/15000stories

It used to be that EYES were the thing that attracted people to each other, the most beautiful feature on one's face. Is that true in your country? Very curious to know...

15,000 Stories needs international writers to exist.....nobody wants to just hear MY stories do they?

NOTE - Oct 2, 2009

The story group has gone through changes. They say that changes are positive. The best change I can imagine is that YOU write a story on the group! Why? Read below and then decide if you feel my initial reason for starting this group is valid.....I think you just may see that it is. Hope so!

Click on some of the previous pages at the bottom of the 15,000 Stories page. It will be worth the click! The…

Abuse - a real story by our own dear Robby on 15,000 Stories

ROBBY tells poetry, she keeps our spirits high. Lately she has been THE writer of the group.

But here, she writes in another tone, another out-of-key sad music.

Come read her private tale of the "lollie" she was given....to not tell, to be silent.....

It took courage to write this poem of such impact - another side of Robby we hadn't known, not to this depth.

Thanks Robby for sharing.

The Comune of Perugia has supported me, and hopefully there will be a big crowd. Anyone care to come??

What did it have THEN that it is lacking now?
I just read someone who said they missed the old days of iPeace. What are YOUR thoughts about it?

Places and Faces. From California...to Umbria (Italy)

Tomorrow I will be having a photography show here in Italy. It will be my very first show that is not the collection of photographs from China. It is the first time I will show photos that are large - in centimeters they are 50x70 and up to 70x100.

The theme of the show is something that I am interested in - here on iPeace and off: that is getting people from different countries together. Getting to know each other. Opening up to who is… Continue

Thanks for showing sensitivity about the death of my dog Stella

Thanks to who wrote to me about my dog.It really is lovely to hear from you, I really appreciate it. I will tell the family about you tonight and I know it will make them feel better too.
It is a very busy period, I have a show on, and good things are happening, great things!
But, I am missing my little companion a lot. I guess it is good that I am so busy, it helps.

Should a blog that is featured be taken off if no one replies? I say YES!

What on EARTH was I thinking when I wrote my blog about my computer keys? Who cares? What good does it do, right?

Actually it DID mean something - it was a comparison of our many nationalities, our computers at our fingertips. Some people (hard to believe) don't even REALIZE that there are letters with accents on them!

And definitely we do not ALL know every currency in the world or the symbol used for them. THAT was my idea behind my blog: to find out visually, what we are… Continue

I am taken off the page and onto a big white page with text "maybe browser wrong, unable to connect". Is anyone having this problem too?? Or is it me? (or my computer) Please let me know through this blog. ThanksStephanie

CHINA Photography show of Stephanie Seymour in Italy - TV filming the show

Just in case you are in town (Castiglione del Lago, Perugia, Italy - a town on Trasimeno Lake) please come to my show Incontri ravviCINAti, which starts on Saturday at 4pm.

I will feature more than 80 photographs of the people I stopped in shops, on the streets, on work sites, to smile - a wonderful experience, both of us curious of the other, and willing to share the moment together with the snap of my camera.

The Joys and Sadness of Starting the 15,000 Stories Group here on iPeace

Months ago I started the group 15,000 Stories. when the war in Gaza started. The tension was high, people were nervous, and being that David is from Israle AND the creator of iPeace, we felt, through him the tension and difficulty of running a new exciting website like this, while the worry and fear of the Gaza war created an almost impossible feat, that of having enthusiasm to start up something that needed energy. At the same time that energy was needed, energy was being drained… Continue

A homeless man marries the head of Caritas in Sicily

http://it.notizie.yahoo.com/7/20090507/tts-messina-clochard-sposa-direttrice-di-c8abaed.html

Just saw this on my homepage of Yahoo - a man, disillusioned with love, travelling around the world sleeping on park benches married the head of the Caritas in Sicily.
Does love know no boundaries? Beautiful story showing that hope does exist - for everyone.
Sorry the article is in Italian, but click around on Google, it probably can be found.

Peace kites at kite fair, Italy

Today in Castiglione del Lago, Perugia, Italy there was a marvelous kite fair. The sky was filled with brightly colored kites of all shapes and sizes. The largest one was the one pictured here, and the theme was PEACE. The word in Italian is PACE (pah-chay). The words happiness, joy, love, friendship, respect are part of the design. This must have been made by students. Once off the ground it received… Continue

WHEN YOU HEART IS IN IT....

I am in Spain for a few days, BUT

when you heart is in something, as mine is, I don't just have a vacation here, but also think about the 15, 000 Stories group that I created months ago - just like having a family and being concerned that everyone is happy and ok when one is away.

So...............here is a picture I took at a festivity yesterday - the men give a rose to their loved one, the women give a book to the men. And being a story group here, now that I… Continue

Speaking from the heart

http://www.ipeace.me/group/15000stories

The idea of the story group was to share our personal stories. THIS in order to know each other better.

Whoever has been following us, I think has been impressed with the diversity - of people on earth, their similarities and their differences.

If you like the idea, if you believe in the idea as we writers of the group do, then consider contributing.

Simple as that.

I am going away for a few days to Spain,… Continue

Stephanie is going to Spain today

http://www.ipeace.me/group/15000stories

First time I will be away from the group ever since it started months ago. First time I won't dedicate minimum an hour to writing, organizing the page, commenting, helping with foreigner's writings, adding photos, corresponding.

I ask myself "while "mommy" is away (I am sort of the mom of the group, having created it) will the children play?

I'll be back in 5 days but in the meantime....will the stories continue....?

the answer… Continue

If you enjoy Tree Thunderchild, read this important writing

If you have loved reading Tree Thunderchild's stories on 15,000 Stories, please read what he has to say on the page now, entitled MysterTree.
http://www.ipeace.me/group/15000stories
It is part story, but mostly talks about himself. Take my word for it, if you are his friend, see what he has to say. Like always, he reveals things inside of himself and generously shares with us. In this writing, he tells even more...............a lot more.
