The Medicine Wheel I go to is located in Stoney Park, 30-45 minutes outside of Calgary, Alberta... Spring equinox is celebrated by druids every where, so Earth Children have put this event together for people to join in as if at a druid ceremony. First off, once in a circle at a druid ceremony they call the Quarters. This is where the druid taking the ceremony calls the directions one at a time, is there peace in the north, the repose is yes there is peace in the north……. I read somewhere that when you perform a Random Act of Kindness you release seratonin (the hormone that tells us that all is well in the world) in the brain..... Today, I helped work on a house that was almost ready for floor covering, so this was good.. seeing a house that is almost ready for finishing.. Started at 8:45 a.m. after the Habitat Safety meeting with the Construction Manager where we reviewed the safety risk assessment and were told the jobs that needed to be done that day.. The Habitat for Humanity site overlooks the deerfoot off 16th Avenue NE.. there is a row of 4 duplex houses (8 houses in all), each painted differently on the outside. Each of the houses have been funded for materials by different businesses..
