ONE

I wrote this probably about 6 or 7 years ago when I was really just starting to understand the power of our thoughts.


Someone told me I had something to give you, I'm not really sure who it was; they told me I had something to offer, individually for the One.

How could this be.... was it only a dream... how could I get this done? I'm sure I have something to give you but I am only One.

One life tucked away in obscurity; one soul without fortune or fame; one heart keeping time as eternity passes by; in this world full of many I am One.

Was it only a dream? It couldn't have been, but how can I get this done? I know I have something to give you but still...I am only One.

What if my thoughts turned to energy and floated through the air? What if raindrops dispersed them for everyone to share? What if invisably we're connected in a oneness mortal eyes cannot see? Then perhaps it could be that it wasn't a dream; individually we're all part of the One.

Was it only a dream? I believe it could be that I can get this done. I know the gift I must give you... my vision of peace and love.
