1. Born in South Africa into a huge connected family.
2. Lived in a interesting neighborhood with people of all nationalities.
3. The Jewish community was strong and very respectful of all people.
4. I never went to a Jewish Day School as my Dad insisted we were
in a country of mixed origins so we should not isolate ourselves.
5. In the middle of the second last year of school I threatened to
quit and got my wish to move to a college.
6. Learned Fashion Design and worked in a clothing factory.
7. Loved the idea more than the work.
8. Saw my husband across a crowded high class shopping center.
9. My knees went weak and I came home and told my Mom that I
saw the man that I would marry.
10. Did not know him and made sure the "he found Me."
11. Had an interesting life meeting people and selling jewelery.
12. Had a son and could take him anywhere he was so easy going.
13. Wanted another child and it just did not happen...spent years
looking longingly in kids shoe shop windows.
14.The day that I was told that I could never conceive again was the
most heartbreaking moment of my life.
15.We decided to adopt a child and I found her myself.
16.The day she was put in my arms was one on true bliss.
17.Immigration to Israel was a nightmare..lost my character and
self worth.
18.Had a few good years and got to travel the world by way of perks
that my husband got for doing production in Insurance.
19.I have been from Alaska to New Zealand.
20.Learned art and taught myself textile art...this is my meditation.
21.Built and lost a business and suffered the consequences!!!
22.Learned that those that are creative and have the guts to try are
not necessarily rewarded.
23.Had the privilege of employing retarded people who made me look
at life with new eyes.
24.I am a founding member of Truemanity and am proud, honored and
humbled by my life mission.
25.I have been invited to attend and be part of a conference of "Amazing
Women" In LA at the end of the month on the strength of my
social activism and large worldwide network...to whom I am grateful for
them seeing my intent to build a better collaborative world. One based
on opportunity, collaboration and co-creation.
