In Ultimate Team, the lure of buying  a fifa 15 coins  player pack and pulling one of the game’s superstars is incredibly tempting. But is it actually worth it? Now, for players who drop their own money into the game, the packs are difficult to value, however, for those who open packs with game coins it is easier to compare whether they make a profit or loss.

Bronze Packs

Their cheap prices and item amount, the possibility of making a profit is much higher. The regular pack, with just the one rare cost’s only 400 coins, which is basically what you can earn playing one match. Expensive bronze players are hard to come by, but you can easily move on a player for 200 buy-out, as well as the contracts, fitness and training cards which are more desirable. The premium pack is a little different, 350 coins more expensive, but the added two rare cards increase the chances of a high rate, expensive card, whilst almost guaranteeing two extra buy-outs. Only four cards selling for two hundred gives you a profit so bronze packs can be worthwhile for those with low coin totals.

Silver Packs

Silver packs are a lot more expensive, however, you do have the chance of pulling an expensive silver player, which can be highly sought after. The normal silver pack, which offers just the one rare card, costs 2,500 coins. For a dozen items, you would have to make 250 coins per card to bring in a profit, which is possible, but can take patience to attempt selling on the items. Rare cards will fetch a bigger price on the Ultimate Team market and that can come in handy when buying the premium packs. Premium silvers are close to 4,000 coins, but with the big league silvers more likely to be pulled, then the profit margin can be big, although the chances are very low.

Finally, the holy grail for those who enjoy opening packs. Recently, I spent around £80 on a single pack opening. Since then, I have tried repeating the “success” (with coins of course) and frankly, I have received trash in return. Now, there is always the opportunity of pulling the big player, but when you consider the number of Ultimate Team players, to the number of Cristiano Ronaldo’s or Lionel Messi’s on the market, then you realize your chances are low. If you then consider the amount of packs opened by those players worldwide, the percentages become even slimmer. Yes, there are other expensive players who are more frequently pulled from packs and if you luck out and pull one, congratulations. If not, wasting coins can become annoying.

To summarize, bronze packs can easily be flipped for minimal profit, but silver and gold packs will be more difficult to make profit from, unless you get some luck.
