Are you Scissors... or Needle and Thread?

After my death experience (I was gone for over ten minutes) and subsequent discovery of The Law of Repeatlessness, I was given a three-week opportunity (without any form of medication) to go in and out of my body at will. I played with this gift as often as I could and eventually developed the ability to stop at the different levels of what I call the "touch points", where who we are interfaces with this world or what we call our physical plane reality.

As a result of this new found ability, I mapped a spectrum of six distinct perceptual levels through which we construct our relationship to our self, each other, this world, our spirit, our bio-chemistry, and our mind. Although I teach the entire spectrum in my two-day Empowerment class, for purposes of this article we will focus on two specific distinctions.

On each end of this spectrum we have what I call the PDR and the SDR. The PDR is our Psychologically Driven Reality and the SDR is our Spiritually Driven Reality. As one begins to work with these two perceptions they realize that the PDR divides all that is united and the SDR unites all that is divided.

Life itself, actually only occurs in the SDR, in the repeatlessness of the eternal present, where all is one and ever changing. The place where there is no separation. Unfortunately, the nature, role and function of the PDR distorts one's perception of what is really happening because it must superimpose structure on to that which is occurring.

You see, the PDR seeks to create meaning to all it experiences. In so doing, it must compare and contrast what it perceives in its experience, to that which it has stored in its memory banks. As a result it must separate itself from the experience so that it may develop a relational spaciousness, thus dividing itself from the experience as if it is separate. Although it is not separate at all, (it could never be separate) in order to function and create subjective meaning, it must do this routine.

The problem arises when we forget that the PDR is simply something that we have. It is not who we are. The PDR is just another sense if you will. It's what comes with the body, but it is not who you are.

For who we are is that which eternally lives in the repeatlessness of the SDR; that which is observing the PDR. So it is through our identification with the PDR that we create, generate and sustain the fallacy of separation.

So the question is, do you want to be scissors or needle and thread? To be scissors means you identify with the PDR, cutting up and dividing this world into separate pieces that you categorize and store in neat little compartments never to come together. Or, conversely, do you want to be needle and thread whereby you identify with the SDR and take all those pieces that you have stored away and begin sewing them back together to create the tapestry of the truth about our existence. The choice is yours.

Personally, I choose needle and thread.
