BATTLE LINES DRAWN

Battle lines drawn

Obligations in free fall into formation or not at all

A call to harms heads hands and feet to rise to any occasion

Never accepting surrender when the taste of victory is much more sweet

Where the battle lines are drawn between right or wrong

There must never be a willingness to accept any sort of defeat

For this is a different battle where there is no combat but with words and actions

Seeking to correct the ills in the world only in celebration is found satisfaction

For the evil men do to each other in then name of power and wealth

Deserves not to stand in the light of day, nor to continue in the open or stealth

Never should the past ills or status quo be resurrected to survive intact

If it means the masses will suffer from such attempts to protect in perpetuity

What has been in the past through the actions of others been reformed or refined

Equality is not an option it is a heavenly design to insure all freedoms in liberty

For the battle lines have been drawn across this dotted line to secure what must be

Whether it takes eternal vigilance or constitutional refrain it must be secured

Never surrendered for expediency’s sake there is too much to lose in heartbreak

Progress is only achieved by our convictions and sweat of our sweated brow

Where lines have been forever drawn for all to see what must be surely achieved

So that freedoms are protected and the ills all suffer are completely relieved

This is the task to fight for by any means necessary from dusk until dawn

These are the battle lines for life immemorial for which we were born to achieve

Our goals are just our legacy secured in all we do to embed forever what we believe

Upon the future for all who will follow to in the same way insure forevermore

As we were born to insure and it was always meant to be along these lines vistory
