at the Expanding Light

The Expanding Light Retreat in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in northern California is just the place for you to get away to take care of yourself. When you are giving out energy constantly – at the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels – it is critical that you devote some time to replenishing that energy within yourself. When you don’t do that, your own ability to act lovingly can be depleted. Your own health becomes jeopardized. Come spend a little time and let us Care for the Caregivers.

The Expanding Light teachers and staff regularly deliver just what caregivers need to stay healthy themselves, and to support the well-being of those in their care. Many have direct experience as health providers and caregivers themselves. And all have dedicated their lives to supporting the well-being of those who come to rejuvenate at The Expanding Light.
