Chronic form of poetry -----We are driven by the wind ...

Chronic form of poetry We are driven by the wind ... Clicia Pavan
"You can never know where
men the wind takes them, they have no roots
they do not like roots "
(Exupéry)

We are vulnerable and unstable as the wind.
We are eternal fugitive
Oscillate between wanting, between good and evil,
every day promised change
But the first wind of temptation
are torn from our purposes
Divided and bruised,
are the plaything of public opinion

We are dragged by the current
fiery trials.
And the media
We played against each other
All that is sacred to instantly falls to the ground

Well forget our roots
of deep convictions
Our Faith and adult
commitments,
before God and men

Do not Let the wind take you
Be firm as a rock
Look at the world
the eyes of the heart
not let
intrigues, the sorrows,the neglect
suspicions

If anyone not notice the good you did
God knows your heart, he noted

have faith in you
In his next.
Have faith in God

When all say no to the dream of his ---
The dream is yours and not theirs, continue to dream - no hard feelings
you have something against someone?
Talk to the person --- Sometimes it is just a misunderstanding -
Remember evil begets evil, intrigue intrigue is
learn to listen more and be discreet ---
And run in pursuit of happiness
much peace and love

Crónica l forma de la poesía

Nos sentimos impulsados por el viento ...
Clicia Pavan

mucha paz y amor

Clicia,

Gracias para la poema. It is sad that we both submit to, and sustain, beliefs that we are in any way different from one another. Men, women, creed, race, all are used by our egos to create the illusion that we are separate. In all forms of judgement are we continuing the lack of understanding that we are all of God!
Blessings,
Graham.

Thank you, yes, I think we forget
that child that once lived in our hearts --
Where is our inner child?
I wish each of us
find the child who lived in our hearts
God bless

Perfect poem, Clicia, for my latest post! How true, we are "driven by the wind!"..."tossed about on the sea" -as I like to add. We forget our true purpose and focus in life...life "it" isn't about "us"...but, so much more!. How often we neglect even those we profess to love! Peace be with you, Clicia.

Well, here's a poem from a man (me):

ODE TO A YOUNG LADY

I walked with her
On that November afternoon
In the autumn of her youth,

And saw her once again, as it were,
For the first time
As, mirrored in those golden tints
She recounted tales of yesterday,
With lucid, bitter longing.
Like the trees was she,
Wistful in the memories of fleeting seasons
Forgiving time and days so swiftly passed,
Accepting everything that came and went so quickly,
Quiet and satisfied with the harvest of her youth.
And in that quietness, of yesterdays remembered,
I saw tomorrow slumbering,
A quiet flame, abiding in the depths of her,
As spring abides the passing of the coldest winter days,
Ready to burn again in the fullness of another season.
And as I looked at her I saw that slumbering tomorrow
Accept the glories and the pains of all her yesterdays
To live in joy together,
That every passing year may be enriched,
Gathering into one the fruits of Nature’s patient growth and harvest
That as tomorrow newly dawns, wholeness into Wholeness may increase
And bliss be born again.
It was as if I saw the whole of life in her,
As I walked with her,
On that November day.

Good thoughts Clicia and there were some phrases that especially hit home
I'll re read it again to let it sink in even more. Thanks, and lovely flowers as well!
