I've played a lot of single player seasons and tournaments to learn the mechanics of this game and I've spent a lot with my Fifa 16 account. I've opened a lot of packs and spent a lot of time buying and selling in the market.

Opening packs is like buying a lottery ticket. I think this is a mistake and instead it should be like the amusements. I suggest coins packs should be governed by the amusements laws rather than the lottery laws. Amusements are programmed with a minimum 72% payout and usually they're set higher by the amusement parks.

Often when selling the items in 7.5K Fifa coins packs I receive an average return of ~25% (~2K coins) and the higher priced packs often net a much lower percentage.

Also I read EA had a competition to win 1 million coins and it was suggested the equivalent value was $100. This is probably supposed to be true except I've spent hundreds of pounds on Fifa points but I don't have many millions of coins like I'm supposed to have netted. What went wrong?

Why must Ronaldo and Messi cost millions of coins?

Why is the maximum selling price 15 million? Is it wrong? A mistake by the powers who decide these things?

For me (a newbie to FUT) it appears there is a lot wrong with the coins and the market and the lottery pack system and I think the powers need to make it right.

The return for the average pack probably is about 75%.

Nearly all of them are closer to 20-25% but if you hit an SIF Ronaldo, Record breaker messi or similar then you'll probably cover all your losses for about 10 editions of the game.

Add to that all the other high value potential pulls such as Suarez and legends on Xbox.

In terms of coins if you pulled a Suarez you'd have to spend about 1.3m to end up with a 75% return assuming you hit nothing else too big in all your pulls.

For anyone that got a SIF Ronaldo you'd have to spend a ridiculous amount of coins to bring the return back to 75% without any other big pulls.

Add to that the market is forever changing, if you got a big pull early on you'd take ages to get your return down to 75%.

That's how I always thought about it and I'm sure others do but I think we need clarification on how much money needs to be spent on points to achieve the above and also is it always possible to get SIF Ronaldo or Record breaker Messi or similar or will it require lottery winner type luck to win a jackpot like that?
