I only ask of God

I wonder what we ask of God? For me, it is that he allows me the strength to keep saying "NO." An Oscar Wilde quote I heard in high school has always stayed with me - "Man's original virtue is his ability to say, no."

We forget what strength it takes to speak out when all around others just go along with the flow and "que sera, sera". What inhuman force almost it takes to speak out and bear witness to the truth, the pain of others and most importantly the road to a better way. What strength to be that woman in the cattle car crying out, "The Fire!" while others remain content that whatever is happening, is okay, don't worry, keep your nose in your own business....
