To the Self we Share~
In Such Glad Patience
Like the flowing, ebbing tide is My Self,
Waiting to burst upon the shore of Knowledge
Every moment edging closer to its furthest reach upon the earth.
Glorious Self, buried, unnoticed by the world
Unnoticed by my body, my eyes, my ears that lean themselves in to hear of this Love, this Light that edges ever closer to the Dawn
even at the dusk of day,
no matter what I do not hear or see or say.
Unnoticed but Known are You
in places in my Mind ~
Patient, Glad places I have shouted past and snuffed out
with words and actions and thoughts disguised as the Sea
to be lost in the roar of a single wave at each days end.
The Self, the Christ, the Love that Whispers , "I have Known You!"
One day, the tide will flood the shore of sins not forgiven
Knowledge of my Innocence to remain like white washed sand.
And I will cry like a child
Knowing I have walked along the edge of the Earth and Sea
And You were there
Reaching out to me,
In such Glad Patience.
