Journey In Life Lessons: Love & Compassion

Journey In Life Lessons: Love & Compassion

I am concerned with the way the world is getting these days, and how important it is, now more than ever, to come together in love and peace and awareness. We all need to look in our own mirrors first and let the change begin from each one of us on a soul level.

To many times we hear on the news about people committing suicide or even killing someone else because of some sort of abuse by the hands of others. Abuse can come in several different forms, for instance, their is mental, physical and verbal abuse. One can receive this abuse from our piers, our family members, our lovers, etc. I know how that feels, because i was teased and treated badly as a child, and yes, even through most of my adulthood. This abuse can cause great depression or sadness in someone’s soul and can alter our perceptions to the point of committing something against our true nature, but the most wonderful thing is that it can be prevented!

People’s minds need to be re-set or they need to be taught by their guardians the proper way to treat others. This abusive behavior towards others, starts when we are children. More often than not, taught by ignorant or unknowing care givers, who unfortunately have their prejudices that were no doubt learned when they were children, and the cycles goes on and on.

We must as a collective change this bad behavior and negative mentality and stop the cycle of abuse on so many levels...NO ONE, and i mean no one should have to suffer abuse or any kind of discrimination, not even the other animals on this planet.

So if you are suffering abuse of any kind from others, please don’t be afraid to speak out and ask for help, there is always hope and a way out. Don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself and others who are going through this stuff. Please don’t stay and put up with someone abusing you. You are a Divine Being and you are worthy of others’ respect and honor. If diplomacy and communication does not work in convincing another to stop their abuse, then be like a dog and just pee on it, and walk away. No one needs this kind of drama in their lives...

I beseech all who will listen on this planet, to stop the cycle of abuse towards others and ourselves. We must honor ourselves and others’ True Selves and be the positive change this world needs to see and experience on all levels of being...Do you understand what i am trying to say? Be strong, be kind and be smart/aware... I remember a quote by Reverend Jesse Jackson who once said, “Never look down an anybody, unless you are helping them up.”

At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done.

We will be judged by 'I was hungry and you gave me to eat, I was naked and you clothed me, I was homeless and you took me in.'

Hungry not only for bread -- but hungry for love. Naked not only for clothing -- but naked for human dignity and respect. Homeless not only for want of a room of bricks -- but homeless because of rejection.

Mother Teresa

My Ernest prayer is that the people on this planet will wake up and stop hurting eachother and the animals of this planet. No more hate and destruction, play fair and be kind and understanding towards all others, regardless of how they look or believe. This all stems from a lack of understanding and love, so be the change, be love!!! love and light, Faiza
