A Journey to the Earth and the Higher Self

This is a story about a visualisation journey I took recently, through my minds eye, that lead me to making some amazing and wonderful observations. Its all about visualisation, something am very natural at because of my scientific background, but had never really tapped into before, nor realised how powerful it was for connecting with our awareness, our chakras and the earth.

Monday 5th June 2010
I imagined I was standing in front of a pair of lift doors waiting for the lift to arrive. When I heard the ping, and the door opened, the lift was empty. I step inside the lift, which was mine alone to use. I pressed the button for the lower ground floor and down I went, descending all the way to the bottom. I then heard a ping noise, the doors opened, and I stepped out in the my lower ground basement

I found myself in what seemed to be an empty car park at first, but then noticed that there was at least one car there too. I noticed it was a red car. I went over to it, checking to see if I had any keys in my pocket, and low and behold there was a set of car keys in them. They fit the red car. It was quite a new car, basic model, not sure which type it was, but felt like the sort of car I would drive.

I start the car, and drive up a ramp that I see that goes up toward the street. I continue driving up ramps, in what seems like a car park, going up each floor, one-by-one.

I am on the roof now of the car park, at the very top in the open air. I seem to be in a major metropolitan city that seems familiar to me. Its a fresh, but dull day I notice. Now am on the roof, out of the car, seagulls
above me. I see a tall thin pole like structure – it is painted white. I then see the beautiful structure of the Taj Mahal, and then a white flag on a flag pole – the 3 things I have seen seem connected somehow, but I don't understand their signifiance. I also see a red mail box for putting letters into.

So am on this roof, and now, i blow the clouds away revelaing a beautiful blue sky. Then, all of a sudden, I see what appears to be a Golden Eagle flying around me. I then feel as if I am observing my body, and am moving around it, and realise that I have become the Eagle. I swoop around my own body on the rooftop for a while, circling and swooping in and out, in total amazement of what I'm expericing in this visualization.

After this, I get back in the car. drive back down, all the way down to the lower ground car park. I take my keys, put them safely in my pocket. I get into the lift as before, and I am back on the ground floor. I see an attractive lady at the reception desk and she takes me keys from me, leaving me rather puzzled as to why she did this. She smilee and puts them in a safe place for me, and I thank her for looking after them for me.

How I Learned to Interpret the Jouney

The red car represented my physical body, and the red color is the color of the base chakra that gives me all my primeval instincts and connection to all of my past lives.
The street level that I went up to represented the here and now, the significance of which I am not quite sure of yet.
The 4 symbols that I saw, I am sure they are positive, and will reveal their purposes later.
The top of building = making a connection to my higher self, or my crown chakra, which appeared to be blocked, represented by the clouds I saw, When i blew the clouds away, it revealed a bright blue sky (perhaps representing the color of the crown chakra, which is a purplish sort of color). .
The Eagle I saw could quite possibly be one of my Power Animals and is an ancient symbol representing Spirit, Vision and Strength.

I'm still researching all that I observed and still don't understand the signifiance of all that I saw on that journey, but I know that like other journey's I've made, all will become clear, and that everything is connected and has meaning.

I thank the Eagle, the Earth and Spirit, and all that guided me on that day, to see some wonderful things. I also thank Leah who was the first person to tell me about how natural it is to connect with animal spirits.

I thought this would be really good to share, as am sure other people will be able to do this, or use similar visualizations to achieve the same.
