Carol Bauer, owner of The Bathtub Bakery, recently learned that her Lacey based company would be featured in People's StyleWatch Magazine February issue. The beauty themed article includes select products for Mardi Gras. The issue is to be released to newsstands on January 10, 2014.

Established in 2012, the company produces handcrafted bath and skin care products with a touch of whimsy. The line of products includes lotions, butters, scrubs, balms and soaps. Her scents mimic sweet treats such as Blueberry Muffin, Cotton Candy, Angel Food Cake and Café Latte. For the fruit lovers there is Raspberry Blast, Fruit Loop and Blood Orange. Over twenty-five scents are currently available.

The Bathtub Bakery's mission is to provide superior quality products that make daily grooming special. The full line of products is available online through the website and will be available later this year in select retail locations.

Carol began her business after many years working in customer service and retail. She has always had a talent for making handmade and creative items, earning her recognition in the media and from her clients. She found that when working with scents, she gravitated toward the fragrances that brought back memories of fun and positive times of her life and found that her clients were looking for a different experience in personal care products.

Her clients enjoy connecting with the maker and have a more personal experience that they cannot have with a large company. She enjoys doing custom work for special events, working with her client to create a product that meets their needs.

The Bathtub Bakery has experienced tremendous growth, increasing sales in the last year by 300%. The Bathtub Bakery is also getting a large amount of international attention. Clients come from around the world including Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
