LET GO

Its time to let go, so easily said but it really can be tough and painful, be it any kind of relationship.
As a small child we can never let go of our precious toys, feel insecure without our parents and want to cling on to them for support, love and feel safe and contented with them.
As we grow up, make friends who are so dear to us in our own way and we never want to let go of them because we share all our secrets with them, spend so much time with them.
Then comes our companion or our beloved and we cling on to him, depending upon him for support, love and whatever reasons. We become emotionally attached to that person, never want to let go and want to hold on forever.
Why is it so? Why is so difficult to let go…
Parents have to let go their children when they grow up and start their life of their own; it’s the way of life.
Everyone has to go on with their life then why do we feel so miserable, unhappy and a strange kind of emptiness inside us, a vaccum in our lives.
This is a question which no one can really answer. Too much of emotional dependence and security could be the answer. No one wants to live a lonely life be it any age and any stage of life.
Letting go of someone we are close to often gives us lot of pain and who wants to go through all that, so let’s hold on as long as we can, listen to our heart and flow along with it and if it gives us joy and happiness and above all peace and love.
As goes the saying. Let go of someone you love, if it comes back to you it’s yours and if it doesn’t, it was never meant to be.
To let go or to hold on is not really in our hands, some questions should be left unanswered .What is destined is bound to happen…let us be like the flowing river and walk on a new path everyday taking each day as it comes.
