Looking Within

Looking Within

     Looking within is something i ponder often. I often ask myself, what does it mean to really “look within”? How do i look within? I have come to the conclusion that looking within can be described as this; a re-evaluation of life priorities, or life style habits/beliefs. It is re-examining our life values, asking who we really are and what our True purpose is here on this planet. Sitting quietly in nature perhaps or in meditation or prayer is a good way to start looking within. We can just think about it, and ponder the possibilities and mysteries of life and where we all fit in.

     We are all connected in some fantastic way to the grand scheme of the universe, and though we might not understand it all right now, have faith and hope, for someday the veil of forgetfulness will be taken away from our minds and we will remember who we Really are and why we are here. Just ask yourself, who am I? We must “ask” first in order to receive this Divine guidance i am told...and don’t forget to be patient with this process, it can happen over night for some, and may take several years for others to discover this awakening of understanding on a soul level, but it is important that we all take that “first” all important step in understanding our place in the universe if we want to achieve more inner peace and awareness in this life experience.

     I suggest that we attempt “looking within” often so it will jump start our growth and understanding process that is all important for our positive evolution and higher awareness. Remembering to stay in a place of love and gratitude during this process will evoke the law of attraction in your favor. You will gradually begin to see positive changes occurring in your life, and your positive thoughts will ripple out and start affecting the whole world in wonderful and loving ways.

     Unfortunately, most of us have not been taught how to look within. Some would like for us to not know our True inner power, therefore, doing whatever they can to confuse us, to distract us from our true purposes and true natures. We have been taught in most societies, to look outside ourselves for the solutions to our problems or questions. May i suggest that we try looking within more for the answers, relying more on our Divine nature and inner wisdom. Looking within helps create and foster more awareness and understanding, it helps us to move through life with more ease and grace. When we do this, we start opening our hearts and minds. It helps to foster more love, wisdom and goodness not only within ourselves but on a global scale, for what affects one will eventually affect others like a ripple on a pond...because we are all connected.

     The key is to trust yourself and this process that every thing is unfolding according to Divine Plan. Acknowledge and believe in, your great inner power, your inner wisdom. Acknowledge that the universe is within each and every one of us and that we are all co-creators in this process. Let your natural self take the lead and tell the ego and false validations to go sit in the corner.

     So, please attempt to connect with your natural self more & recognize what you want, visualize it, feel gratitude for it and be open to receiving it, for this is all a part of the “looking within” process and eventually you will find your destiny, the right relationships and situations in your life. The best will come to you and you will not only walk through life with more ease and comfort but with greater inner peace and awareness. Beautiful, isn’t it? Alan Alda said, “You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you will discover there will be wonderful. What you will discover is yourself.”

     May we all connect with the “heart of the lotus” as it were, unfolding the petals of ego and false ideas. I am suggesting letting go, & finding our True nature of love, greater awareness of the great inner power we all possess...i leave you in love and light. Faiza...
