Love and friendship.

Few words on love and friendship,a combination of the two can be so fulfilling making our life more contented.
Love and friendship, so similar and yet so different, so connected and yet so far away. Love is a feeling which comes direct from the heart so intense ,full of warmth and belonging whereas friendship is an understanding between two individuals, knowing each other and always there for each other in times of need…both can be beautiful in their own way.

Can we love and be friends with the same person or vice versa, it happens very rarely that the person we love can be our best friend,It's because lot of expectations come in love and friendship has no demands whatsoever, strange...isnt it! In fact the person whom we love should be our best friend, closest to us whom we can confide in but it doesn't work that way because of possessiveness, jealousies and also certain other factors and that is why we look to other people for friendship and sometimes it happens that a friend could be the person whom we fall in love with and if that happens then nothing could be better as that relationship will be more fulfilling and satisfying, because that person will be our friend first and then lover, more receptive and understanding, an absolute beautiful relationship.

Love is passion, desire, longing and should be felt rather than spoken; it's a meeting of two hearts rather than bodies, not just a biological need but meeting of souls uniting in complete harmony.

Friendship is trust, understanding, sharing, knowing each other well and being there for each other in difficult and trying times. It is the highest form of love, in love some lust is bound to be there but in friendship all lust disappears and everything becomes subtle.

Friendship is something conscious, love is unconscious. Hence one always rises in friendship; one does not fall in friendship like people fall in love, why they don't rise in love?

Friendship has a spiritual dimension which love doesn't.

It would be ideal if we can love our friend, but we can choose our friends and true love only comes with destiny...Friendship has a natural instinct and it can be the purest form of love which has the fragrance of a flower, as fresh as the dewdrops and when combined with love it can be the most pleasurable experience and make our life more contented.
