Somalia is facing its worst humanitarian crisis in years. Millions...

A skinny ribcage, huge eyes and thighs thin as arms two year old Shukri is dying, and hes not alone. One in three Somali children is malnourished. I cannot move because of hunger, says a mother. Forty-five thousand tons of aid arrive each month in Mombasa, but most of it gets siphoned off at the warehouse: You can buy as much as you like. A ton or half a ton a day can be shifted discreetly, this trader confesses. Its shockingly easy to go to the WFP office and claim food for a fictitious camp. Goods that make it to real camps are often taken straight back to Mogadishu to be sold on the market. A witness claims: They bring the food here to prove it's been delivered, offload a small amount and take the rest back with them! The WFPs tragic lack of control over the food chain is killing those its meant to save.

Gaza's children suffering from malnutrition- 8 June 08

Gaza's hospitals are used to treating victims of rocket attacks and gunfire. But now their waiting rooms are increasingly filled with severely malnourished children. Since Israel imposed a blockade on the strip following the Hamas takeover a year ago, families have been struggling to feed their children. Al Jazeera's Owen Fay reports from Gaza.

Bruno Polius - 1971

{Refrain x2}
Non, non, rien a changé
Tout, tout a continué
Hé ! Hé ! Hé ! Hé !

Et pourtant bien des gens
Ont chanté avec nous
Et pourtant bien des gens
Se sont mis à genoux
Pour prier oui pour prier
Mais j'ai vu tous les jours
A la télévision
Même le soir de Noël
Des fusils, des canons
J'ai pleuré, oui j'ai pleuré
J'ai pleuré, oui j'ai pleuré
Qui pourra m'expliquer que ...

Moi je pense à l'enfant
Entouré de soldats
Moi je pense à l'enfant
Qui demande pourquoi
Tout le temps, oui tout le temps {x2}
Moi je pense à tout ça
Mais je ne devrais pas
Toutes ces choses-là
Ne me regardent pas
Et pourtant, oui et pourtant
Et pourtant, je chante, je chante ...
