Many stores in Fut 14 Coins Europe opened up at midnight on November 23 to sell PlayStation 2 consoles, and the hype around the console reached its climax. While in the UK it was almost impossible to get a PS2 if you hadn't preordered one, other countries had long waiting queues in front of the stores. In order to find the fairest solution, many shops opted for a lottery system. The photos attached to this story show some of the lottery-like systems that were adopted by shops in order to get rid of long waiting lines and riots. People had to draw a number, and if their number was chosen, they were allowed to buy one of few PlayStation 2 consoles.

As expected, the console is pretty much sold out everywhere in Europe. Some shops were sold out within 30 seconds, mostly selling bundles with three games (Tekken Tag Tournament, Fantavision, and Ridge Racer V). The second shipment of consoles has already arrived in Switzerland and will be going to retail within the next few days.
